Introducing Meg's New Online Gallery (April 2006)

Welcome to PhotoLiaison.com. Photo Liaison was founded by Meg Partridge and Bill Evans to create a gallery without walls providing photographs from master photographers. Our current selection includes images from Meg's grandmother (photographer Imogen Cunningham), father (photographer Rondal Partridge) and Meg's film on her godmother (photographer Dorothea Lange).

Meg has an intimate knowledge of Imogen Cunningham's work. Her relationship with the Imogen Cunningham Trust spans 25 years with 1000's of hours organizing and archiving the entire negative collection of Imogen Cunningham. Meg has also directed and produced documentary films on Imogen Cunningham, Dorothea Lange and Rondal Partridge. Her film on Imogen Cunningham was nominated for an Acadamy Award for best documenary film.

These experiences give Meg a unique ability to select only the finest available images which we showcase in our gallery. We assure that our photographs are prints of unquestionable quality, with letters of provenance when appropriate. All of our artist-signed prints are guaranteed to be original. All limited edition prints are tracked and managed by both the photographers and Photo Liaison.

We offer signed originals, unsigned originals & estate stamped prints. The printing processes of our images embrace a diverse range of photographic expression, including Platinum and Silver Gelatin photographs & fine art Digital prints.

Thanks, Meg & Bill

Two Callas is considered one of Imogen's most striking images with its flowing form and intimate details. This image was originally displayed in Stuttgart, Germany by request of Edward Weston. The flora and fauna work encompassed by Imogen's images of Calla Lilies and Magnolias was the pivotal work that helped define Imogen as one of America's eminent photographers.

This print is hinge mounted on 18 in x 24 in 100% archival cotton rag board. The print bears the Hillcrest Court Cunningham Trust label and was printed and signed by Joshua Partridge, Imogen Cunningham's grandson.

Meg hand selected this print from those available at the Cunningham Trust.

Signed Original Artist Produced Platinum Print

Rondal Partridge took this photograph of Ansel Adams while working as his assistant in Yosemite, in the 1930s. This image of Ansel was taken with Ansel's camera as he stood in front of Rondal's large-format camera. This negative was recently rediscovered in the Ansel Adams archives and credited to Rondal in Ansel's own handwriting on the negative sleeve. This image was the centerpiece of the Ansel Adams Centennial show and celebration.

This platinum/palladium image was printed by Rondal in May 2002 and is number 43 of an edition of 100 prints. This platinum/palladium print reveals the hand applied emulsion on the edges of the print and contains printing notes. This print is hinge mounted on 14 x 18 in 100% archival cotton rag board. The print bears a hand signed Hillcrest Court Rondal Partridge Label and also has Ron's signature in the lower left corner of the print.

Meg found this rare print in her father's archive during her last visit to the Cunningham Trust.
